The Family Planning and HIV programs are funded by Title X under the Office of Population Affairs. The programs are Community-based serving both women and men with emphasis on the prevention of unintended pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, and HIV. These programs are unique by using a mobile medical clinic that allows us to provide services in all seven districts of the Gila River Indian Community and Ak Chin. This program is confidential and maintains its own medical documentation that is not shared with Gila River Health Care medical records or other agencies, facilities, or people unless requested by the patient. We are funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health and Science as well as the Office of Population Affairs and Office of Family Planning. | ||||||||
